Bezos Earth Fund Awards $2 Million to AIFS and Partners to Advance AI-Designed Foods

The Bezos Earth Fund has awarded a $2 million grant to the AI Institute for Next Generation Food Systems (AIFS), the American Heart Association (AHA), the Innovation Institute for Food and Health (IIFH), and the other partners to pioneer AI-designed foods that promote health and sustainability. In partnership with the Periodic Table of Food Initiative (PTFI), managed by AHA, the “Swap it Smart” platform will harness AIFS’s AI and data-driven insights to help create nutritious, affordable, and environmentally conscious food innovations.
